Small Animal Medicine Wards

The hospital has six small animal medicine wards that house hospitalized patients in individual cages or runs. Hospitalization stays vary from overnight to several weeks depending on treatment plans for each animal. Animals requiring a higher level of monitoring are hospitalized in Critical Care or Intermediate Care wards. Students are responsible for monitoring the care of their patients and will see to their needs.
