Small Animal Surgery Area

The Small Animal Surgery area of the James L. Voss Veterinary Teaching Hospital consists of five operating rooms, central nurses’ station, scrub room, and storage area. Three of the operating rooms are used for soft tissue surgery, one for orthopedics, and one for special procedures, including research and open heart surgeries. There is also an autoclave for sterilizing instruments that might be needed immediately and tempered storage for fluids and blood products..
