Appointments, Patient Inquiries, Visitation, and Patient Dismissal Information

Inquiries about hospitalized animals can be made 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday - Friday, by calling the hospital switchboard. For after-hours and weekend updates, please make arrangements in advance with the attending veterinarian. Hospital policy requires communication concerning an animal's status occur directly between the attending veterinarian and the client.

Visitation

Visitors are limited to owners and immediate family members. Visits must occur no later than 8:30 p.m., and should be limited to one hour. Arrange visits in advance with the attending veterinarian by calling the hospital switchboard. For critical care patients, staff in the critical care unit also must approve visits. Clients visiting animals in the large animal hospital must wear protective clothing and be accompanied by the animal's veterinarian and/or the student on duty.
